Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a SCADA Engineer to maintain and expand a growing SCADA team across North America, Latin America, and Europe. You will validate upgrades, troubleshoot field equipment, and drive system reliability for wind, solar, and storage fleets.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, mentoring, and training delivery, with a focus on scalable SCADA architectures and integration across multiple platforms and vendors.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of renewable energy experience with SCADA systems.
• US work authorization without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• PPC experience on SEL RTAC, PACSystems, GPM and Allen-Bradley.
• Inverter/tracker/HMI experience for solar, wind and storage assets.
• Strong data protocols: DNP3, Modbus, OPC, SEL FM.
• Project/people management and ability to develop training content.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for OEM hardware/software capabilities.
• Collaborate with analytics and availability teams to validate system upgrades.
• Support field facilities and control center with equipment upkeep/troubleshooting.
• Analyze SCADA reliability to improve performance of generation assets.
• Lead technical resolutions with OEMs, integrators and engineering teams.
• Work with colleagues to integrate systems and provide telemetry to external entities.
• Ensure scalability of current SCADA architecture and train engineers.
• Mentor teammates on new SCADA technologies and standards.
