Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. in San Diego is seeking a Senior SBOM Engineer to drive open source compliance, SBOM governance, and software supply chain assurance across a diverse portfolio of products and technologies.

You will analyze complex software systems, identify and assess open source components, generate SBOMs, and partner with engineering, legal, security, and product teams to ensure compliant and secure software releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or higher).
• 5+ years of software engineering, open source compliance, or related experience.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and modern source-control practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead open source and third‑party software reviews for SBOM readiness.
• Generate, analyze, and validate SBOMs (SPDX/CycloneDX).
• Develop automation to improve compliance and integrate SBOM workflows.
