Job summary

Logos Space seeks a Senior Payload Pointing Control Software Engineer to lead onboard, real-time beam control software. You will design, develop, integrate, and test pointing control software linking estimation algorithms with mission requirements—motion to mission.

Work in a fast-paced environment turning vague ideas into flight-ready software. You will collaborate across interfaces to antenna hardware and crosslink terminals, participate in full lifecycle development, and support mission

Qualifications

• Education in STEM fields (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or related).
• Senior-level with spacecraft GN&C software experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and real-time software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain real-time state estimation and pointing control flight software in C and C++.
• Interface with payload beam control hardware and antenna systems.
• Perform attitude determination, control, disturbance rejection, and pointing analyses.
• Conduct software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop testing and verification.
• Participate in requirements, architecture, coding, and reviews; support mission operations.
