Job summary

ICEYE in Valencia is seeking a Satellite Production Senior Technician, Integration, Mechanical & Thermal to act as a technical anchor in the Mechanical & Thermal Production team. You will independently execute complex assembly, integration, and testing with precision and sound judgment.

You will mentor junior technicians, troubleshoot frontline issues, and ensure flight-readiness standards are met while collaborating with Specialists and Production Line Owners on process improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3+ years in mechanical assembly or integration, preferably aerospace or high-reliability.
• Strong structural assembly knowledge including torqueing and thermal hardware application.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards and cleanroom practices.
• Ability to interpret engineering docs and translate to practical instructions.
• Attention to detail with clear on-floor communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced assembly and integration activities including torqueing and bonding.
• Lead root cause analysis with specialists and engineering teams to fix build issues.
• Review instructions and checklists, driving improvements in safety, reliability, tooling.
• Mentor junior technicians and share best practices on the production floor.
• Support line owners with test environments, configurations, and technical input.
• Maintain an audit-ready, clean, organized on-site workspace compliant with standards.
