Job summary

Muonspace is seeking a Flight Software Engineer in San Jose, CA, to join our satellite flight software team. In this role, you will design, develop, integrate, and test the flight software and firmware for our orbiting satellites. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of software engineering experience and strong C/C++ programming skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience as a software engineer in a team environment.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills with practical familiarity of other languages.
• Ability to read and understand hardware data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Define and build Muon’s satellite bus platform.
• Design and support the embedded software environment for satellites.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams on architecture and tools.
