Job summary
Myticas Consulting Inc. seeks a Senior User Terminal Antenna & RF Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership in the evaluation, design, validation, and deployment of advanced satellite user terminal antenna technologies across fixed, mobile, maritime, aeronautical, and land-mobile applications.
The role emphasizes RF system analysis, antenna modeling, electromagnetic simulation, and performance validation to meet demanding technical and commercial objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Telecommunications, or Physics.
- Minimum of five (5) years in satellite communications or RF engineering.
- Experience designing, integrating, or evaluating RF antenna systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technical requirements for advanced user terminal antenna systems.
- Define, allocate, and verify antenna performance requirements for multiple terminals.
- Support certification, qualification, regulatory approval, and product validation processes.
- Perform system-level modeling, simulation, and performance analysis of antenna systems.
- Analyze antenna performance, coverage, beam steering, link budgets, and deployment scenarios.
- Lead supplier design reviews and architecture discussions.
- Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary development teams.
- Develop validation plans for prototype and production antenna systems.
- Collaborate with RF, hardware, software, systems, manufacturing, and quality teams.
