Job summary

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Senior SATCOM Test Engineer to lead verification and validation of advanced satellite communication products.

You will collaborate with system, software and hardware teams to develop test plans, automate tests, and perform validation prior to market release. The role requires experience with C/C++, Python, Java; MIL-STD testing; RF calibration; lab equipment; and creating test fixtures.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C/C++, Python and Java.
• Experience with lab and network equipment (analyzers, oscilloscopes, emulators).
• Test to MIL-STD-188-165B/-165A standards.
• RF calibration automation understanding.

Responsibilities

• Take system, hardware and software level requirements and develop verification test procedures.
• Create, interpret, modify programming source code in multiple languages such as Python, C and Java for automated test software.
• Support Integration and Test, Design Verification, First Article and Production test.
• Troubleshoot moderate to complex satellite communication equipment and software.
• Report, track and monitor product performance, capabilities, and defects.
• Create and setup test fixtures.
