Job summary

CACI is seeking a Junior Network Engineer to support the ECS3 program, focusing on LANs, CAN and Unified Communication services across CONUS/OCONUS locations. You will contribute to design, transition, operations, and continuous improvement, including tech modernization and equipment replacements.

You will assist in planning network configurations, upgrade IOS, and document designs while coordinating with government customers and team members.

Qualifications

CCNA certification required.
Active TS/SCI with polygraph or ability to obtain polygraph prior to starting.
Three years of experience with network operating systems (Cisco; Juniper) and LAN/WAN protocols (OSPF; BGP; MPLS).
Must be capable of engineering and documenting network solutions, not just deploying or configuring.
Strong verbal and written presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with plans of network design, layout and baseline configuration.
Analyze network topologies, traffic and capacity requirements and provide recommendations.
Brief government customers and contractors on recommended solutions and designs.
Complete network engineering surveys and installations.
Develop standard documentation and complete IOS upgrades and device configurations.
Complete network documentation for diagrams, design, and inventory support.
Perform cable infrastructure tasks as required.
Complete change management requests for device installations.
