Job summary

SES Space & Defense seeks a seasoned SATCOM engineer to deliver Tier III support for GEO and MEO satellite systems, spanning field deployments, integration, and troubleshooting across global infrastructure. You will work with customers, field personnel, and engineering teams to ensure reliable service delivery and readiness of deployments.

Applicants should have 8–10 years of SATCOM experience, a strong background in GEO/MEO architectures, and the ability to travel for installations and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 8–10 years of SATCOM engineering, field engineering, or satellite operations experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GEO/MEO satellite systems and operational support.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier III engineering support for GEO/MEO SATCOM services and issues.
• Perform FAT, bench testing, validation, and certification of SATCOM equipment and systems.
• Support installation, activation, and sustainment of fixed and mobile SATCOM systems.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments for system design and readiness.
• Troubleshoot SATCOM, networking, and system integration issues across infrastructure.
• Travel domestically and internationally for installations and support.
• Develop technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
• Deliver training on SATCOM systems and procedures.
• Collaborate with networks, engineering, and service delivery teams.
