Syneos Health in Massachusetts is seeking a Principal Statistical Programmer Sponsor Dedicated to lead programming for complex studies within a sponsor-driven environment. You will set programming standards, manage timelines and mentor junior programmers.

The role requires 8+ years of SAS/Base/Macro/GRAPH experience, CDISC data standards, and strong regulatory knowledge. You will collaborate with sponsors, handling validation outputs and ensuring documentation quality across submissions.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; MS preferred in statistics or computer science.
• Minimum 8 years of programming experience using SAS/Base/Macro/GRAPH in biopharma or CRO.
• Data Management experience with CDISC standards is highly desirable.
• Strong SAS skills and attention to detail essential; familiarity with regulatory submission guidelines.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate multiple tasks under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead programmer for a study group or multiple studies and maintain timelines.
• Maintain programming standards and datasets across studies.
• Review standard macros and datasets used; ensure quality and documentation.
• Coordinate programming resources and mentor junior programmers.
• Review validation outputs and ensure clean documentation for submissions.
