Job summary

The Sr. Research Analyst at The University of Miami will be a key member of the research team, providing programming support for cleaning, summarizing/reporting, and analyzing research data. You will collaborate with biostatisticians and data managers to ensure data quality and accurate results.

The role requires SAS programming experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a hybrid setting with on-site training and reporting responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering or related analytical field.
• Experience in SAS programming.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for real-time data QC.
• Conduct routine data checks to ensure data integrity and completeness.
• Write SAS macros and programs for data cleaning, reporting, and analysis datasets.
• Assist in design and implementation of procedures to improve efficiency and support growth.
• Perform statistical analyses defined in statistical analysis plans as needed.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
