Job summary

WCG is seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer in the United States to develop and validate SAS programs for regulatory submissions. This role leads programming efforts, mentors junior staff, and collaborates with statisticians and data managers to ensure accurate, compliant outputs.

Required is a Master’s degree and 5+ years of SAS experience, with preferred R skills and CDISC knowledge. This position involves cross-functional collaboration and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of SAS programming experience.
• R programming experience highly preferred.
• 2 years of macro programming experience required.
• At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, vaccines, biotech, or medical device industry.
• Phase 1-4 clinical trials experience.
• In-depth knowledge of CDISC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and document SAS programs for clinical trial datasets (SDTM, ADaM) and outputs (tables, listings, figures) for regulatory submission.
• Lead programming activities and manage resources, timelines, and priorities for studies and projects.
• Conduct comprehensive quality control checks and peer code reviews on all programming deliverables.
• Collaborate with statisticians, data managers, and clinical teams to ensure project requirements are met.
• Troubleshoot programming and data issues, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely data reporting.
• Provide mentorship to junior programmers on industry standards and best practices.
