Job summary

People Force Consulting Inc is seeking a Senior SAS Data Management Consultant to support a state health care client on a remote basis. The role focuses on SAS-based ETL for the Enterprise Data Warehouse and data marts, with extensive SAS programming, SQL optimization, and data integration work.

Responsibilities include building, maintaining, and troubleshooting ETL processes, data mappings, and transformations, while operating within Agile/SDLC and health care data frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Math, IS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of SAS programming and ETL development.
• Strong SAS programming using Base SAS, DATA step, PROC SQL, and macros.
• Experience optimizing SAS and SQL for performance and resource use.
• Experience with ETL for EDW and data marts; data modeling and mappings.
• Strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain SAS ETL for EDW and data marts.
• Develop SAS programs using DATA step, PROC SQL, macros, arrays, and ODS.
• Create and maintain source-to-target data mappings and transformation rules.
• Optimize SAS and SQL to improve speed and resource use.
• Provide production support, QA, and performance tuning for warehouse processes.
• Collaborate with client and delivery teams on changes to the warehouse.
