Job Title: Senior SAS Developer

Location: Walnut Creek, CA 94598
Duration: 4 months contract position extendable to 12 months

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Must have strong SAS mainframe programming experience.
• Recognized expert with ten or more years of technical experience providing internal/external consulting services to management and technical staff in solving complex information issues.
• Competence in technology assessment, feasibility studies, cost/benefit analyses, hardware and software evaluation, developing IS standards and methodologies, and business process re‑engineering.
• Knowledge of the state‑of‑the‑art in information technology and systems management.
• Experience level: 10+ years.
• Current use of mainframe programming languages and other bank utilities/tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of structured project methodology.
• Strong attention to detail with outstanding problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to organize multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Analytical ability, negotiation skills, ability to work under tight deadlines.
