Job summary

BWX Technologies, Inc. in Ohio is seeking an experienced SAP Systems Administrator to manage BWXT's SAP environment, including four ERP instances in an air-gapped setup with S/4HANA migration projects.

The role spans ABAP/Webdynpro, BI, PI, and portal components on Windows and SuSE Linux, with responsibilities across upgrades, monitoring, transport management, and governance. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree, 10+ years SAP experience, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a DOE

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
• At least 10 years of experience in SAP technologies.
• Prior SAP System Administration (BASIS) in Windows/MS SQL Server and SuSE Linux environments.
• ECC 6.0 Business Warehouse and Business Intelligence 4.x.
• PI process integration 7.5.
• NW Gateway 7.5.
• Experience with ABAP and JAVA stacks.
• Hands-on Installation and Upgrade/Enhancement Pack experience.
• Transport Management with CTS/CTS+ configurations.
• Experience with installation and configuration of Bolt-On products (DGN Transport Connect, EPI-USE DSM, SEAL Systems).
• Experience with HANA DB on SUSE Linux.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• DOE clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of SAP system administration.
• Implement system upgrades applying support packages.
• Perform monitoring and performance tuning.
• Complete transport management and related SAP administration (MS SQL Database Administration).
• Participate in governance controls, documentation and reporting (DOE/SOX audits).
