Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a Package Consultant 2 to drive SAP SSAM implementations and end-to-end ERP customization within the Infosys SURE unit. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, participate in solution design, and tailor ERP modules to meet strategic objectives.

In this role, you will configure interfaces, perform ETL integration, ensure security and regulatory compliance, and deliver thorough documentation and user training.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring SAP SSAM with PM and EWM components.
• Lead functional configuration and implementation of SAP SSAM.
• Gather requirements and translate to BP design and functional specs.
• Integrate SSAM with SAP backend systems including S/4HANA or ECC.
• Provide post-go-live support and optimization recommendations.

In the assigned Job Role of Package Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders across business units and assist in validating specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives and ERP capabilities
• Contribute to solution architecture design by assisting in customizing modules and features of ERP package, based on detailed business requirements
• Develop and integrate new features into existing applications, conduct code reviews and maintain the codebase for stability and compliance
• Participate in system integration efforts by configuring interfaces, executing ETL processes, and ensuring consistent data flow between ERP and other applications
• Assess ERP system performance to identify enhancement opportunities and to ensure that ERP customizations are in compliance with security measures and regulatory standards
• Develop comprehensive documentation for ERP customizations and deliver user training to facilitate effective knowledge transfer

Your contribution to the team:

• Knowledge of ERP systems and integration techniques, along with sector focus
• The ability to handle end to end ERP package customization and implementation

Required Skill and Experience

• Experience in configuring SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM), with deep expertise in implementing and supporting SAP Plant Maintenance and Enterprise Work Management solutions.
• Lead functional configuration and implementation of SAP Service and Asset Manager.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform fit-to-standard assessment and translate them into Business Process design document & Functional Specifications.
• Integrate SSAM with SAP backend systems (S/4HANA or ECC) and mobile platforms.
• Support testing, training, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SSAM functionality and performance.
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations.
• Experience across Electricity (preferred), or Gas or Water Utilities industries would be added advantage
• Should have good knowledge of Notification Management; Integration with Maintenance Order; Preventive Maintenance; Breakdown, Corrective and Calibration Maintenance Process etc.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation will be an advantage

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Experience of at least 2 end-to-end SAP SSAM implementation lifecycle activities including:
• Requirement gathering
• Business process design
• SAP configuration
• RICEFW Functional design
• Systems and Integration Testing
• Resolving production issues
• Great communication and presentations skills
• Strong analytical skills with ability to work in advanced excel based data analysis
• Ability to work with onshore teams and coordinating work delivery between onsite and offshore
• Flexible work timings required due to remote working environment including onshore overlaps as required

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
