Job summary
Amazon is seeking an experienced SAP Technical Solution Architect to lead architecture and engineering for ABAP, SAP BTP, and BASIS as part of a major Finance ERP transformation. You will own the technical strategy, govern development standards, and guide a team across design, build, testing, deployment, and operations.
You will partner with ERP Product, Functional Solution Architecture, Security, and Engineering to translate requirements into scalable technical designs, while ensuring security
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
- 10+ years IT development or implementation in software/Internet.
- Experience leading engineering teams.
- Deep expertise in ABAP, BTP, BASIS, integration, or architecture.
Responsibilities
- Own SAP architecture and engineering strategy across ABAP, BTP, BASIS, integrations, extensibility, and platform operations.
- Lead multidisciplinary team of ABAP developers, BTP engineers, and BASIS professionals with clear ownership and standards.
- Define technical patterns and guardrails for SAP configurations, custom development, workflows, and interfaces.
- Establish clean-core principles and determine when to use standard SAP vs. extensions or ABAP development.
