Job summary

Akraya, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager – SAP Supply Chain/Manufacturing to lead complex cross-functional initiatives for a new manufacturing facility setup, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and IT systems.

Qualifications

• Must have PMP certification with number and status listed at top of resume.
• 8+ years of experience leading cross-functional manufacturing/enterprise tech projects.
• Strong SAP Supply Chain PM experience incl. ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA implementations.
• Proven experience managing complex SAP implementations/rollouts across multiple functions.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams with structured PM and Agile practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and exec reporting skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Jira, and MS Project or Smartsheet.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Local candidate available for onsite work and travel to Malaysia ~50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project planning and execution for new manufacturing facility setup (procurement, manufacturing, logistics, IT/business systems).
• Manage SAP implementation projects, phased global rollouts, upgrades, product launch scale-ups, and facility expansions.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, timelines, milestones, and governance frameworks.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Finance, Manufacturing, Operations, Infrastructure, Quality, Regulatory & Compliance, and more.
• Prepare and present kickoff materials, schedules, budgets vs actuals, and training plans.
• Coordinate third-party SI partners, SAP Services, vendors and other implementation partners.
• Lead change management activities including stakeholder analysis, training materials, and adoption efforts.
• Drive issue resolution and communicate status, risks, and mitigation plans to sponsors.
• Ensure deliverables comply with internal processes and regulatory standards.
• Apply global PM best practices to improve consistency and outcomes.
