Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a Technical Product Owner to advance SAP RTR and RAR capabilities within SAP S/4HANA Finance. You will partner with Controllership, FP&A, and IT to translate business needs into scalable specifications and manage the product backlog to improve financial accuracy, automation, and audit readiness across global operations.

Qualifications

• Proven background of 10–12 years in SAP RTR/RAR or related finance ERP roles.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance including FI/CO and close processes.
• Experience aligning with finance process standards and SAP guidelines.
• Agile delivery experience with modern tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own RTR/RAR product backlog and roadmap for SAP modules (RAR, RTR, GL, close).
• Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Lead governance and ensure compliance with GAAP/ASC 606/IFRS and global templates.
• Drive end-to-end RTR/RAR workflows, data integrations, and reporting structures.
