Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Sr. World Wide Specialist SA - SAP, Modernization to join our AWS Specialist Solutions Architects team.

The role focuses on guiding customers through SAP modernization, designing scalable architectures, and shaping go-to-market strategies. You will work with SAP-centric customers, lead technical engagements, and develop field enablement content to help the broader SA population integrate AWS solutions into customer landscapes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology domain experience (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 5+ years experience in SAP business processes (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay) and integrations with related third party software.
• 5+ years of SAP techno-functional experience (ABAP/BTP/Fiori/BD Cloud).
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
• Knowledge of SAP systems and their architecture and infrastructure needs.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private.

Responsibilities

• Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and roadmap.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to domain-aligned GTM teams to unblock critical customer challenges.
• Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public events.
• Partner with Business Development to define technical components of GTM concepts, solutions and initiatives.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts and create enablement materials.
