Job summary

C5MI Insight seeks a SAP MDG Funds Management Functional Consultant to design, configure, and support MDG FM data within a federal SAP S/4HANA environment. You will work with government stakeholders to establish governance processes and improve data quality across integrated SAP landscapes.

You will lead workshops, implement FM data models, BRF+ rules, and DRF integrations, and support data migration, testing, and UAT. Occasional on-site travel and Secret clearance eligibility are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of SAP MDG/ FM/PSM experience
• Experience configuring SAP MDG for FM, including data modeling, BRF+, and DRF
• Strong understanding of FM and PSM master data in SAP S/4HANA
• Experience integrating FM with FI/CO/G/L and grants management
• Experience gathering requirements, workshops, functional design documentation
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship)

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering sessions and workshops to define FM MDG governance requirements
• Collaborate with government stakeholders to capture business rules and design FM master data models
• Configure the SAP MDG framework for Funds Management (data modeling, UI FPM modeling)
• Configure BRF+ derivation and validation rules and change request workflows
• Support governance processes for FM master data and related objects
• Configure DRF and support master data synchronization via SOA Services, IDocs, and ALE
• Collaborate with Finance/CO/GL/PSM to ensure data quality and consistency
• Develop functional and configuration documentation
• Support data migration, data conversion, and master data cleansing
• Perform unit/integration testing and assist UAT
• Travel to client sites as needed
