Job summary

JPS Tech Solutions seeks an experienced SAP MDG Consultant to serve as SME for SAP MDG with a strong focus on Material Master and Business Partner in S/4HANA. You will own MDG design and delivery, drive FIT-GAP workshops, configuration, data migration strategy, and stakeholder engagement.

The role requires independent work on MDG initiatives, delivering high-quality, compliant master data solutions and collaborating with onshore/offshore teams across SAP ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP experience with 2+ full-cycle MDG implementations.
• Strong hands-on MDG Material Master and Business Partner expertise.
• Proven ability to drive end-to-end MDG implementations with minimal supervision.
• Hands-on configuration in MDG IMG, DRF IMG, BRF+ rules, and MDG workflows.
• Solid understanding of S/4HANA MDG framework and data migration.

Responsibilities

• Lead MDG Material Master and BP FIT-GAP workshops with business and IT.
• Perform end-to-end S/4HANA MDG configuration including workflows and validation.
• Create and maintain documentation (BPDs, flows, FSDs, GAP analysis).
• Provide guidance on data governance, quality, and stewardship.
• Define data migration strategies and integrations with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and non-SAP.
