Job summary

Abbott is seeking a SAP Manufacturing Manager to lead a team of SAP analysts focused on manufacturing, quality and planning within the SAP-MD environment. You will coordinate enhancements, collaborate with business and technology teams, and ensure system changes meet regulatory standards.

You will guide team members, oversee resources, and drive opportunities for effective SAP-based solutions across global manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
10+ years in SAP manufacturing, quality and planning operations.
3+ years leading end-to-end IT projects.
Strong verbal and written communications; strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Represents the manufacturing operations team and provides SAP expertise on large-scale IT programs.
Manages the intake, prioritization and completion of enhancements and projects assigned to the Finance team.
Works cross functionally within the SAP team and across other IT organizations to resolve complex MES issues.
Reviews the resolution and proposed solutions for business and assesses their technical impact to ensure alignment with global template and regulatory standards.
Ensures change control, access control, and landscape management processes are followed.
Builds strong working relationships and communicates effectively with partners in Business and across the SAP-MD team.
Directly manages employee and contractor resources; coordinates scheduling and resource allocation for production issues.
Provides system integrator oversight and guidance; assists in training and career development.
Ensures compliance with Abbott processes and onboarding of new team members.
Complies with FDA regulations and other regulatory requirements.
