Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Device and Work Management Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery for SAP IS-U in a U.S. utility transformation program.

You will own the Device and Work Management workstream, align SAP IS-U processes with metering and field operations, and drive solution quality, integration, testing, deployment, and readiness. You will lead functional teams, collaborate with business, technical, vendor, and program stakeholders, and ensure cross-workstream

Qualifications

• Typically, no less than 4 to 6 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including hands‑on work in Device Management, Work Management, meter reading, or related field processes.
• Experience owning SAP IS-U Device and Work Management solution design and delivery through implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Experience integrating SAP IS-U with AMI/MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, SAP Plant Maintenance, and mobile workforce solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Device and Work Management workstream, including scope, target processes, solution decisions, delivery plans, quality, risks, and outcomes from discovery through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
• Define and govern the functional design for device lifecycle management, meter reading, field service, work execution, and operational controls.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, solution workshops, and design reviews to translate utility metering, field operations, and business requirements into scalable SAP IS-U solutions.
• Drive end-to-end integration across SAP IS-U and related platforms (AMI, MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, SAP Plant Maintenance, mobile workforce).
• Oversee end-to-end testing and defect resolution for meter-to-cash processes, field execution, and operational handoffs.
