Job summary

CMC is seeking a senior SAP integration developer to design, implement, and monitor interfaces using SAP BTP Integration Suite and PI/PO across AS/400—cloud and on-premise systems. You will collaborate with project teams to meet EDI/API requirements and ensure secure, scalable data exchanges.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of SAP BTP Integration Suite and 10+ years of PI/PO experience, with strong analyses, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of SAP BTP Integration Suite development and 10+ years of SAP PI/PO development.
• Experience leading a development/support team is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and monitor interfaces using Integration Suite & PI/PO.
• Work with partners to determine EDI/API requirements and configure integration objects.
• Participate in testing, documentation, and user training activities.
• Define tasks and provide estimates, independently or with project managers.

What You'll Do

• The candidate must be flexible in learning about new technologies and platforms
• Work on designing, developing, and monitoring interfaces using Integration Suite & PI/PO
• Will be responsible for working with partners in determining EDI/API requirements, designing, developing and configuring integration objects
• This role may also be participating in other project activities including testing, documentation and user training
• The Developer must work independently or with project managers to define work tasks and provide estimates

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of SAP BTP Integration Suite development
• 10+ years of SAP PI/PO development experience
• Experience with leading a Development/Support team would be a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Worked on design and development of interfaces with cloud-based systems
• Experience with SAP BTP Services
• Experience with SAP S/4 Hana (Private & Public)
• Experience working with REST, SOAP, JDBC, SFTP and other adapters
• Experience with Java, Groovy and XSLT mappings
• Work on IDocs and EDI based integrations using SAP B2B adapters
• Knowledge and experience with other integration platforms like BizTalk, Boomi or MuleSoft would be a plus
• Experience in handling sensitive data securely
• Experience working on Success Factors interfaces is a plus
• Must have experience with interfaces using ALE/IDocs/Proxies, good understanding of data flow and integration across modules.
• Must understand the software development life cycle and be able to perform systems analysis and design activities in accordance with Agile development methodology

Your Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience
