Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a GIS Solution Architect – Supply Chain Planning to design and deliver SAP-based solutions for global planning processes including IBP, S/4HANA, and related ERP integrations. You will guide architecture, standards, and cross-functional delivery with internal teams and external partners.

In Tampa, you will shape scalable, integrated planning solutions, mentor teams, and drive continuous improvement in forecasting, inventory, and order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or information technology; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience within Information Technology industry.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning products i.e., SAP IBP and SAP APO.
• Prior life-cycle implementation of SAP IBP or S/4; expertise in leading design and blueprint sessions, supply chain planning configuration, development, cutover activities, data migration, testing and hyper-care.
• Strong project management skills, tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of supply chain planning technologies and how they integrate with ERP systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Building relationships within the GIS organization, cross-functionally, and with key stakeholders to stay aligned with objectives.
• Developing partnerships with stakeholders and process owners to understand processes and goals.
• Understand strategic direction of Owens Corning’s businesses and execute functional strategies to support results.
• Lead technology roadmap development for supply chain planning and related assessments.
• Ensure planning documents and configurations comply with architecture standards.
• Lead IBP blueprinting sessions and collaborate across tracks to design integrated solutions.
• Provide training on IBP planning solutions (SAP IBP, Kinaxis, O9) to end users.
• Collaborate with other architects and external partners; participate in multiple implementations and process improvements.
