Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking an experienced SAP HANA / BW/4HANA Consultant to join Chicago-based data warehousing initiatives on a 6-month engagement. You will design and implement enterprise data models, integrate SAP and non-SAP sources, and optimize performance for analytics workloads.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of hands-on SAP HANA Modeling and BW/4HANA experience, with ABAP, SDI, ETL, SQL, and CDS/Calculation Views mastery, collaborating with stakeholders across IT and business

Qualifications

Strong experience in SAP HANA Modeling.
Expertise in SAP BW/4HANA Modeling.
Hands-on experience with SDI and ETL.
Experience with ABAP and SQL.
Knowledge of SAP BODS.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

Gather reporting, analytics, and data integration requirements from business stakeholders.
Design end-to-end SAP BW/4HANA and SAP HANA solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
Develop and optimize SAP HANA: Calculation Views, CDS Views.
Develop SAP BW/4HANA data models, including ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views.
Design and implement SDI/ETL processes.
Extract, transform, and load data from SAP and non-SAP systems.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries, procedures, and scripts.
Perform performance tuning for queries, data loads, and system scalability.
Support reporting tools and dashboards with clean data models.
Conduct unit, integration, and data validation testing.
