Job summary

Resolve Tech Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP HANA / SAP Basis Support Engineer to join our SAP operations team in Texas.

The role focuses on day-to-day SAP technical operations, system maintenance, upgrades, and complex troubleshooting across HANA, Basis, OS, and network layers. You will perform major/minor upgrades using SUM, patch and kernel updates on RHEL, manage RFC connectivity, and coordinate with infrastructure and security teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP HANA DBA experience.
• SAP Basis administration and support experience.
• Experience supporting SAP production environments.
• SUM upgrades and maintenance experience.
• RHEL/Linux administration and shell scripting.
• RFC connectivity troubleshooting between SAP and external apps.
• System patching and kernel upgrades experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide SAP HANA Database Administration (DBA) and production support across SAP environments.
• Perform SAP Basis administration and technical support, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Execute SAP major and minor upgrades, including planning, preparation, execution, and post-upgrade validation.
• Hands-on experience with the SAP Software Update Manager (SUM) tool for SAP upgrades and maintenance activities.
• Perform RHEL OS patching and maintenance, including using Linux shell scripts to automate and streamline patching activities.
• Support SAP system kernel upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and technical maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and support external system integrations and connectivity, including handshake and connection-related issues.
• Strong experience with SAP RFC configuration, troubleshooting, and connectivity between SAP systems and external applications.
• Analyze technical logs and coordinate with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams to resolve complex issues.
• Participate in planned maintenance activities, system refreshes, upgrades, and infrastructure changes.
• Follow established operational procedures, change-management processes, and production support standards.
• Provide on-call or after-hours support when required for critical maintenance and production activities.
