Job summary

BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. seeks a seasoned SAP Solution Architect with deep R2R expertise to lead end-to-end SAP FICO architecture in a regulated Life Sciences environment.

You will partner with Finance, Controllership, Tax, and IT to design scalable, compliant solutions supporting financial close, statutory reporting, and audit-ready controls. The role requires 10+ years in SAP Finance design, strong R2R knowledge, and experience integrating SAP with external tax engines.

Qualifications

• Experience in SAP Finance architecture for Life Sciences or regulated industries.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS concepts and SOX controls.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end SAP Record to Report architecture (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, close).
• Lead design workshops to translate requirements into target-state designs.
• Govern SAP FICO across Source to Pay, Order to Cash, Plan to Produce, data & controls.
• Design SAP PaPM models and allocation frameworks (cost allocations, profitability analysis).
• Define allocation strategies for assessments, distributions, overheads, intercompany allocations, reconciliations.
