Job summary

EDF power solutions North America is seeking a Principal SAP BTP Platform Engineer to lead hands-on BTP integration, ABAP development, and governance for the SAP landscape. You will focus on the SAP BTP Integration Suite while guiding broader platform services and applications, including Build, API, events, security, and data integration.

The role emphasizes modernizing ECC integrations, enabling a smooth transition to SAP S/4HANA, and coordinating with enterprise teams to define standards,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10 years of progressive experience in SAP Basis, SAP Technical Architecture, or SAP Platform Architecture roles within complex enterprise environments.
• Experience with large-scale SAP implementations, upgrades, and migrations, including S/4HANA greenfield or brownfield projects.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., Ansible, Python).
• Experience with industry solutions relevant to energy and utilities.
• Certifications: SAP certifications such as SAP Certified Application Associate / SAP Certified Development Associate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on SAP BTP integration, ABAP development, and platform services delivery.
• Architect, govern, and implement SAP BTP Integration Suite and related services.
• Define future-state integration strategy for ECC to S/4HANA migrations.
• Develop secure, scalable integration components and APIs; ensure reliable data flows.
• Provide technical leadership for ABAP developments and side-by-side extensions.
• Support testing, deployment, monitoring, and stabilization for ECC and S/4HANA integrations.
