Job summary

EDF power solutions North America is seeking a Principal SAP BTP Platform Engineer to lead design, governance, and execution of the SAP BTP landscape, with emphasis on Integration Suite. This role requires hands-on leadership and deep expertise in ABAP, API management, and cloud integration.

You will modernize integrations from SAP ECC toward SAP S/4HANA, building iFlows, configuring BTP services, and ensuring secure connectivity across SAP and third‑party applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 10 years of progressive SAP Basis/Platform Architecture experience.
• Experience with large-scale SAP implementations, upgrades, and migrations (S/4HANA).
• Experience with automation tools and scripting (Ansible, Python).
• Experience with SAP Ariba integration and external cloud integrations.
• Relevant SAP certifications preferred (e.g., SAP BTP Integration Suite, ABAP).

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and governance of the SAP BTP landscape, focusing on Integration Suite.
• Design, develop, and support BTP integration components, APIs, event-driven architectures, and security.
• Develop ABAP interfaces and ABAP-based integrations within ECC and S/4HANA modernization.
• Guide S/4HANA transition planning and migration efforts; coordinate legacy to modern stack.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across SAP BTP, ECC, and integration teams.
