Job summary

Hirewell is seeking an experienced SAP Senior Basis Administrator to support enterprise SAP environments, drive upgrades, and contribute to cloud transformation initiatives. The role requires proactive problem-solving and collaboration across IT and business teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong SAP Basis, S/4HANA/HANA expertise, and hands-on experience with upgrades, migrations, patching, and system copies. This position emphasizes reliability, performance tuning, and global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of SAP Basis administration in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP upgrades, migrations, system copies, refreshes, and patch management.
• Experience administering Windows Server environments and SQL databases.
• Strong knowledge of SAP transport management, system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting cloud-based SAP solutions, including RISE with SAP.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and support SAP environments (S/4HANA, HANA).
• Perform installations, upgrades, patches, refreshes, and migrations.
• Support cloud transformation initiatives (RISE with SAP).
• Manage SAP Basis across dev, QA, testing, and production.
• Administer SAP HANA databases: performance tuning, backup, recovery.
• Support Windows Server and SQL database infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and health.
• Troubleshoot SAP Basis, DB, OS, and integration issues.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams on projects.
• Manage SAP security, user access, transports, and compliance.
• Support SAP BTP integrations and external connectivity.
• Participate in disaster recovery and high-availability planning.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Assist audit activities and governance compliance.
