Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a senior Database Administrator T3 based in the United States to lead SAP BASIS administration, architecture, and optimization across enterprise SAP environments. This role drives design, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and performance tuning with a focus on reliability, security, and disaster recovery.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage complex integrations, and ensure operational excellence in a remote-capable, high-demand setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on SAP BASIS administration and SAP architecture knowledge.
• Experience managing SAP landscapes including design, upgrades, maintenance, and production support.
• Knowledge of SAP on Windows and Linux with HANA, Sybase, Oracle, and SQL Server databases.
• Understanding of backup/recovery, DR planning, testing, and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture analysis, design, development, deployment, and support for SAP systems.
• Coordinate third-party dependencies and integrations for reliable operations.
• Design SAP system landscapes across environments and projects.
• Plan maintenance schedules to minimize disruptions and support DR testing.
• Lead troubleshooting and performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintain SAP on Windows and Linux with Cloud integration (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and delays to stakeholders.
