Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Developer / Technical Architect for a hybrid role in Marlborough, MA. You will design and deliver SAP ABAP/RICEF enhancements, Fiori interfaces, and HANA-optimized solutions while partnering with business and IT teams.

You will guide architecture, governance, and modernization efforts, including Fiori, S/4HANA, and CAP/RAP-based extensions, in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of strong experience as a Senior SAP ABAP Developer / Technical Architect.
• Experience in SAP ABAP, SAP S/4HANA architecture, RICEF development, and SAP FIORI UI5.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support RICEFW objects using ABAP, OOABAP, CDS Views, ALV, Adobe/SAP Forms, User Exits and BAdIs.
• Develop inbound/outbound interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData Services, REST/SOAP APIs.
• Build and enhance SAP Fiori apps, OData Services, and backend APIs; support migration of legacy SAP GUI to Fiori.
• Develop SAP S/4HANA solutions with ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, HANA SQL and code pushdown.
• Architect and optimize mobile solutions for warehouse/operations integrated with SAP WM/MM/SD/LE.
• Lead architecture and development of complex S/4HANA enhancements, integrations, and custom apps.
• Ensure governance, standards, and clean-core principles; mentor teams and conduct code reviews.
