Job summary

Moderna Therapeutics in Cambridge, MA is seeking an experienced SAP developer to design and implement ABAP solutions, extend SAP BTP, and build Fiori/UI5 apps. You will partner with architects and stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant SAP solutions across S/4HANA, CAP, RAP, and related extensions.

The role emphasizes hands-on ABAP, BTP services, clean-core principles, and modern development practices, with a strong focus on integration patterns and SAP AI capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/Engineering/CS.
8+ years SAP development experience including ABAP and 3+ years SAP BTP development/extensibility.
Strong hands-on ABAP including RICEFW, OO-ABAP, APIs, interfaces, workflows.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support SAP ABAP solutions across ABAP, BTP, Fiori/UI5, RAP, CAP.
Contribute to clean-core and side-by-side extensibility, apply best practices.
Troubleshoot SAP S/4HANA and BTP issues; guide teams to resolution.
Support integration across SAP and non-SAP platforms via APIs and middleware.
