Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, taxation, or related field.
• CPA or CPA track preferred.
• 2 years of experience in state and local tax in public accounting or consulting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/review state and local tax returns (sales, personal property, C-Corporation, S-Corporation, partnerships).
• Conduct research and provide technical SALT guidance.
• Assist clients with state/local tax audits and negotiations.
• Develop tax planning strategies to minimize SALT liabilities.
• Stay current on SALT laws and communicate changes to clients.
