Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in fisheries, wildlife management, natural resource science, or environmental science, or closely related field.
  • Master’s Degree may substitute for one year of required experience.
  • Ph.D. may substitute for two years of required experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Lead adult salmonid trapping and evaluation activities for the Lower Snake River area.
  • Coordinate data collection, sampling, and reporting for summer steelhead and Chinook programs.
  • Supervise and mentor technical staff, set objectives, and evaluate performance.
  • Develop and manage project proposals, budgets, and external funding.
