Job summary

Skechers IT division is modernizing our software stack with cloud native APIs, serverless components, and Salesforce-driven CRM initiatives. The Senior Salesforce Engineer will lead Salesforce development, integrations, and DevOps, partnering with fast-moving teams to design scalable, reliable solutions that align with business goals.

You will build Apex, LWC interfaces, and API integrations, manage CI/CD pipelines, and help implement deployment strategies across multiple Salesforce orgs.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Extensive experience in Apex, LWC, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Salesforce AI offerings such as Einstein and Agentforce.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and SQS a plus.
• Experience integrating with 3rd party APIs.
• Experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines and monitoring/alerting.
• Ability to communicate complex topics with precision and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own Salesforce programmatic requests.
• Develop SOQL code, Apex classes and triggers and Custom User Interfaces leveraging Lightning Web Components (LWC) and JavaScript.
• Use Salesforce APIs using REST, SOAP, GraphQL and platform events.
• Experience in iPaaS middleware platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft and Informatica.
• Experience in SFDX, GitHub for source code management and GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in PMD ruleset and ensuring code quality
• Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, ERP systems such as Oracle and the ability to integrate Salesforce with cloud and ERP systems
• Responsible for architectural documentation and reviewing the development of solutions specified in technical design.
• Support the Salesforce Administrator as necessary.
• Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
• Work with the Production Support team to ensure fixes and enhancements are delivered in a timely fashion
• Translate business process requirements into a detailed technical specification to meet business goals.
• Ensure development activities are aligned with scope, schedule, priority, and business objectives.
• Interface with both internal and external technical experts to implement solutions.
