Job summary

Open Systems Technologies in Chicago seeks an IT Applications Developer IV / Sr. Salesforce Developer to design, implement and optimize Salesforce-based solutions. You will tailor platforms to business needs, build data models, and deliver scalable customizations.

Join a cross-functional team to assess emerging technologies, develop integrations via REST/SOAP, and implement end-to-end Salesforce solutions with dashboards and security controls. 5+ years of Salesforce experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Salesforce development or administration experience.
• Experience in SFDC configuration and customization.
• Proficient with APEX, Visualforce, Lightning components, and flows.
• Experience with integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, OAuth.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and deployment processes.
• Experience creating reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
• Familiarity with Data Cloud, Einstein analytics and Marketing Cloud is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assessing the technical viability of emerging products and technologies.
• Working with developers and infrastructure specialists to test and evaluate new technologies.
• Participating in the development of business cases and obtaining approvals for capital expenditures.
• Monitoring and analyzing new technology product performance and resolving issues as needed.
