Job summary

V Group Inc. in Hartford, CT is seeking a senior Salesforce Developer to support the CT DCF systems, including CCWIS. The role requires extensive Salesforce Apex development, OOP, and full-stack capabilities to maintain and extend critical child welfare applications.

The consultant will work with the System Integrator, participate in all SDLC phases, and deliver technical documentation and support. This contract runs ~12.5 months with in-person interviews and hybrid work scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Salesforce development.
• Strong knowledge of Apex using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce design patterns.
• Experience developing Lightning Pages and Visualforce Pages.
• End-to-end Salesforce development including CRUD and SOQL.
• Strong knowledge of .NET OOP and SOA.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work with stakeholders and mentor others.
• Onsite availability in Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the SDLC.
• Verify requirements and translate to technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, maintain, and support Salesforce apps.
• Mentor less experienced staff and share knowledge.
• Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the SDLC.
• Collaborate with DCF IS teams and the System Integrator.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot issues.
