Mandatory Interview & Location Requirements

Position Overview

The Connecticut Department of Children and Families (CT DCF) is seeking two Senior Salesforce Developers to support existing custom Salesforce applications and contribute to the development of CT-KIND, the department's next-generation child welfare information system.

The selected candidates will work throughout the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and production support. Developers will also collaborate closely with the system integrator on application support, knowledge transfer, and ongoing enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Salesforce applications and custom solutions.
• Develop using Apex, Lightning Pages, and Visualforce.
• Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns to create scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Configure Salesforce applications and develop SOQL queries and CRUD functionality.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and support application integrations.
• Participate in requirements validation, technical design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and production support.
• Create and maintain technical and application documentation.
