Skywalk Global is seeking a Salesforce Programmer Analyst for an 8-month engagement in the Glen Allen, VA area. You will enhance and remediate a recently developed production Salesforce application, focusing on Apex, LWC, and declarative configurations to maximize business value.

The role requires hands-on Apex/LWC, strong DevOps practices with Copado, and experience with Jira for agile workflows. Strong documentation skills and regional government/public-sector exposure are a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Proven hands-on experience with Apex (classes, triggers) and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Strong understanding of declarative Salesforce configuration (Flow Builder, Process Builder migration, validation rules, page layouts, permission sets).
• Production experience with Copado (or comparable Salesforce CI/CD tooling) for release management.
• Experience writing Apex unit tests and working within a DevOps-driven defect remediation process.
• Practical experience with Jira for agile story writing, acceptance criteria, and defect tracking.
• Strong written communication skills for technical documentation.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain Flows, Apex classes and triggers and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to extend Salesforce functionality in support of business requirements.
• Apply a configuration-first approach — favor declarative solutions before custom code, reserving Apex/LWC development for requirements that exceed configuration capabilities.
• Use Copado CI/CD to manage source control, deployments, and release pipelines across Salesforce environments.
• Write and maintain Apex unit tests and collaborate with the DevOps team to debug, triage, and remediate defects.
• Contribute to and maintain technical documentation (design specs, deployment notes, release documentation).
• Use Jira to document user stories, acceptance criteria, and design changes for both defect remediation and new feature development.
