Position Summary

Senior Salesforce Developer – a highly technical role focused on implementing AI‑driven solutions within Salesforce. The incumbent will work closely with architects and product owners to understand business requirements, translate them into scalable solutions, and ensure high‑quality, maintainable code. This role reports to the Director, Salesforce and Integrations and may work in a hybrid or remote setting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise‑grade solutions on the Salesforce platform, including advanced Apex (Batch, Queueable, Future, Schedulable), Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce where appropriate.
• Design complex data models, role hierarchies, sharing rules, and security architecture.
• Create dynamic UI solutions using LWC with advanced JavaScript (ES6+).
• Design and implement AI‑driven solutions using Salesforce Einstein (Prediction Builder, Discovery, Next Best Action), Einstein GPT, and Salesforce Data Cloud.
• Integrate external AI/ML services (OpenAI, AWS SageMaker, Azure ML) via REST APIs and build prompt‑driven workflows within Salesforce Flows.
• Build AI‑powered automation for lead scoring, case classification, forecasting, and recommendations.
• Implement real‑time AI inference via Platform Events and asynchronous processing.
• Work with structured and unstructured data sets for AI model training and insights.
• Apply Responsible AI principles, data governance, and compliance standards.
• Build custom solutions connecting Salesforce with field‑service platforms such as Dispatch.me.
• Support, maintain, and improve existing Sales and Service cloud applications for optimal functionality.
• Write high‑coverage, bulkified unit tests and enforce code quality standards.
• Conduct comprehensive testing of Salesforce solutions to ensure proper functionality, usability, and adherence to best practices.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Copado and conduct code reviews following secure coding best practices.
• Stay current with the latest trends in contact‑center technologies and related tools, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of IT experience with focused Salesforce development across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Strong skills in Apex classes, controllers, triggers, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
• Experience configuring and customizing declarative tools such as Workflows, Process Builder, Flow, Validation Rules, and approval processes.
• Extensive experience with platform events and integration via APIs, middleware, or custom connectors.
• Proficiency with the Salesforce data model, security model, and sharing rules.
• 3+ years of designing and implementing AI‑driven solutions using Einstein, Einstein GPT, and Salesforce Data Cloud.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver on schedule.
• Experience with Dispatch.me, invoicing, or field‑service integrations is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or comparable experience.

Compensation & Benefits

The base pay range for this position is $116,365 – $157,500 USD annually, with potential annual performance‑based bonuses, sales incentive plans, or commission targets depending on qualifications and experience.
