Job summary

BinTech Group is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer/SME for a 12-month remote contract. You will design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions across Service, Community, and Marketing Clouds, mentoring offshore and onshore teammates, and ensuring SDLC best practices.

You will lead complex Dev endpoints using Apex, LWC, and integrations via REST/SOAP, while guiding project timelines and technical direction. Remote work with night/weekend on-call support may apply.

Qualifications

• Must have Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
• Hands-on experience with Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Salesforce Developer/Subject Matter Expert, this person will perform the following tasks, but not limited to:

• Application design, development, and production support for multiple large projects using Salesforce technologies.
• Conduct development workstreams, from design through testing and deployment, often working with junior members of the team both offshore and onshore.
• Ensure adherence and constant improvement to the SDLC process and best practices through the development, testing, and support phases, including code reviews, mentoring, and policy governance
• Participate in daily Scrum sessions as an Agile team member.
• Identify enhancements through customer interaction and work directly with them to provide solutions.
• Define systems architecture, design techniques, and development standards to support cross-functional, multi-system solutions that scale and are flexible to meet the future needs of the organization.
• Research and resolve Salesforce application issues in test and production environments.
• Evaluate the daily and monthly batch process to improve performance and shorten the critical path window.
• Perform Impact Analysis across multiple Salesforce platforms and applications.
• Deliver complete documentation for estimates, design, and development.
• On-call for production support during off-office hours (night and weekends).
• Create timelines and development goals.
• Provide technical leadership.
• Testing the stability and functionality of the application.
• Writing documents and providing technical guidance/training to other developers.
• Maintain the security and integrity of the application software.
• Perform code review. The job includes other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
• Play the role of a Subject Matter Expert for the AHFC Salesforce applications.

• Develop technical documentation.
• Resolves problems promptly that arise with existing production applications to ensure the efficient and proper functioning of application components.
• Collaborates with technical staff to learn and understand software problems.
• Generates a variety of complex and periodic reports and/or data through database management, data administration and data extraction techniques.
• Provides general system users and management with system analysis and feedback.
• Influences system design by identifying and recommending design and requirements needs for software enhancements.
• Mentors and coaches less experienced staff.
• Maximizes the efficiency of the various software systems by implementing, monitoring, testing, and auditing new software programs.
• Analyzes and resolves computer-related problems by coordinating with inhouse personnel to diagnose and fix operational difficulties, as well as consulting, advising, and training on specialized features and functions.
• Follows established configuration/change control processes.

• Experience in developing customer‑facing applications.
• Experience in developing Salesforce code as per specifications using Salesforce platform, Apex Classes, Apex triggers, Batch Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visual Force (VF Pages), Integration (REST, SOAP, Change Data Capture, Platform Events), Force.com API, Flows, Process Builder, SOQL and SOSL.
• Experience in the Captive Finance industry preferred.
• Familiarity with test practices and deliverables for unit testing.
