Our client is looking to add a dynamic Salesforce consultant with a specialty in Salesforce B2B Commerce to their team. You will be a leader of a high-performance project team responsible for building enterprise-level Salesforce solutions, with a focus on B2B Commerce implementations. You may also contribute to broader Salesforce initiatives across Sales, Service, or Experience Cloud projects.
This is a 4-month long contract with possibility of extension ( full-time engagement for the first month and then 75% until the end of the contract ).
Responsibilities:
- Lead client-facing functional workshops to articulate native Salesforce capabilities, aligning solutions with each client’s specific goals and challenges
- Serve as a Salesforce subject matter expert in client interactions, guiding solution design and helping to manage scope throughout the project lifecycle
- Own the functional requirements and solution design for Salesforce implementation projects, leading activities across all phases of delivery
- Own the definition of business requirements and user stories, collaborating with stakeholders to translate needs into clear, actionable specifications for the delivery team
- Design and configure the Salesforce application to build customized solutions
- Configure Salesforce using declarative tools, including flows, validation rules, custom objects, and page layouts, to support business requirements across B2B Commerce, Service Cloud, and core CRM use cases
- Build reports and dashboards, define automation, and support data integrity efforts to ensure scalable, user-friendly solutions
- Collaborate closely with project managers, technical architects, developers, designers, and QA testers to ensure successful delivery
- Address client escalations with professionalism and urgency, working collaboratively to drive resolution and maintain project momentum
- Stay current with the latest Salesforce platform capabilities, applying new features to improve solution design and deliver business value
- Provide thought leadership on Salesforce best practices, tools, and methodologies to elevate project delivery and team effectiveness
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of total Salesforce experience (CRM, Service, Sales, Experience Cloud, etc.)
- 2+ years working with Salesforce B2B on Lightning
- 5+ years of experience in client-facing Business Analyst or Functional Architect role
- Expert at leading functional requirements workshops
- Skilled in producing clear functional documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Extensive knowledge of Salesforce declarative tools, flows, page layouts, permissions, custom objects, etc.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce B2B Commerce features, including catalog and product management, buyer groups, contracted pricing, checkout, and invoicing
- Expert knowledge of the Salesforce B2B Commerce data model
- Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent hands-on experience
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud (Communities), CMS, and other Salesforce Clouds (e.g., Service, Sales)
- Relevant Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, B2B Commerce on Lightning, Experience Cloud Consultant, or Service Cloud Consultant
- Working knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams across time zones and regions
- Broad experience integrating Salesforce with eCommerce systems and services (e.g., payments, tax, invoicing, inventory, ERP/OMS, analytics, middleware, and global commerce scenarios)
- Prior consulting experience
