Job summary

Ares is seeking a Senior Associate to serve as a Business Analyst within Client Platforms, the engineering team responsible for all client-facing systems. You will gather requirements, document processes, and support the delivery of digital products and technology initiatives across investor onboarding and post-close servicing.

This role partners with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with operational needs and strategic objectives, with strong emphasis on clear requirements

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of business analysis, consulting, or technology experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, process mapping, and documentation skills.
• Experience facilitating requirements gathering with business stakeholders to define processes.
• Experience with Salesforce, including requirements gathering, workflow documentation, and platform enhancements.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and project management best practices.
• Comfortable presenting to business and technology leaders.
• Exposure to asset management, financial services, or capital markets preferred.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence preferred.
• Experience supporting client onboarding, investor lifecycle, CRM, or client servicing processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document business requirements and ensure alignment to business outcomes and KPIs.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define, document, and improve end-to-end business process flows and operating models.
• Create user stories, process maps/flows, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
• Analyze current-state and future-state processes and recommend improvements to drive efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into Salesforce and other client platform requirements.
• Assist with backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Support testing, UAT coordination, and defect triage.
• Assist with project documentation and meeting materials.
• Track action items and ensure follow-up with stakeholders.
• Develop subject matter expertise across client platforms, including Salesforce and investor lifecycle processes.
