Job summary

Monks is seeking a highly motivated Salesforce Architect to design and deliver CRM Platform implementations and managed services for global clients. You will lead technical design across Marketing Cloud Engagement, Data 360, and Core (Sales/Service Cloud), shaping cross-cloud architecture and data strategies.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, governance, and mentorship, with opportunities to engage in pre-sales and strategic technology planning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience in the Salesforce ecosystem.
• 8+ years of Marketing Cloud Engagement and/or Sales Cloud experience.
• Experience with lifecycle marketing and new Salesforce platforms such as Marketing Cloud Next/Advanced, Data 360 and Agentforce is preferred.
• There may be opportunities to learn new platforms according to our CRM Partnerships and project pipeline.
• Experience with writing SQL and AMPscript
• Strong understanding of SOAP APIs, REST APIs and integration architectures between platforms.
• Experience working with client teams and consulting staff through full-lifecycle implementations and/or implementing integrated solutions including products from the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Experience in a technical leadership role designing, building, and executing complex automated marketing programs with Salesforce Marketing Cloud that include email, SMS, mobile, in-app messages.
• Experience in acting as a leader and as an individual contributor
• Track record of working independently to drive projects to completion in a matrixed environment.
• Communicate effectively both verbal and written
• Ability to work flexible hours (prioritizing EST timezone)
• Possess and maintain Salesforce Certifications. Preferred Salesforce Certifications are:

Responsibilities

• Lead highly-complex solution design and architecture across Cloud platforms.
• Own blueprint and integration strategy unifying Marketing Cloud Engagement, Data 360, and Core (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
• Lead data ingestion, identity resolution, and segmentation strategies across Data 360.
• Oversee secure API integrations connecting client data lakes, websites, and third‑party systems into Salesforce.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the team.
• Participate in strategic planning and definition of innovation strategies and projects.
• Represent the CRM Team in events, forums, and on-site meetings when required.
• Involve in pre-sales initiatives to define scopes of work and estimate effort.
