Job summary
UNLV Information Technology seeks a Senior Salesforce Architect to provide strategic leadership for the university's Salesforce ecosystem, with emphasis on Education Cloud and Data Cloud. The role partners with campus stakeholders, mentors a COE team, and contributes hands‑on work for complex initiatives while guiding data governance and integrations.
Remote eligibility and flexible work arrangements are offered, with a focus on delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions across multiple clouds
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- 5+ years of Salesforce architecture, design and delivery in enterprise environments.
- Experience with Education Cloud/EDA and Data360/Data Cloud.
- Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer I plus another architect cert.
- Higher education experience is preferred; must handle multi-cloud projects.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain target‑state architecture and technical standards.
- Lead solution design for major initiatives with hands‑on support as needed.
- Partner on enterprise integration and data governance across systems.
- Establish governance for design reviews, releases, and testing.
- Adopt platform innovations (Education Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce).
- Mentor teammates and communicate tradeoffs to diverse audiences.
