Job summary

T-Mobile USA, Inc. is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to lead architecture strategy and execution for its B2B consumer‑facing platforms.

You will design scalable, secure architectures and guide integration across onboarding, servicing, and commerce domains for web and mobile experiences. Ideal candidates have extensive experience in B2B e‑commerce, cloud-native environments (AWS/Azure), and API‑first design, with strong leadership and collaboration skills to align business and technical

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of related work experience or advanced degree with 5 years of related experience (required).
Acceptable areas of study include computer science or a related field (required).
7-10 years of experience in a business environment (required).
7-10 years of experience as a software or systems architect, engineer, or programmer (required).
4-7 years of experience in B2B online e‑commerce systems architecture and design (required).
4-7 years of experience in web experience management technologies such as self‑services, content management, search, analytics, and marketing automation (required).
4-7 years of experience in architecture and design of mobile web applications, including responsive design and hybrid models for native applications (required).

Responsibilities

Architect end-to-end B2B experiences across onboarding, servicing, and commerce flows.
Evaluate third‑party products for integration into organizational technology solutions.
Define and maintain software development processes to ensure consistent application architecture, API‑first integration strategies, and technology standards.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and support implementation across onboarding, servicing, and commerce domains.
Provide architectural leadership for scalable, secure, and compliant B2B digital experiences on web and mobile platforms.
Stay ahead of industry trends, including cloud‑native architectures and customer experience technologies.
Analyze business processes related to assigned projects to align technical solutions across enterprise customer lifecycle needs.
Take ownership of new requests and identify opportunities to enhance job outcomes, platform scalability, and organizational value.
Act as a domain expert and provide guidance on platform evolution, integration strategies, and emerging technologies.
Perform other duties or projects as assigned by business management.
