Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking a Sales Tax Outsourcing Senior to join our State & Local Tax (SALT) practice in the United States. This senior role focuses on resolving data issues, training on Avalara, and delivering accurate sales tax returns for clients across Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail and Healthcare sectors.

The position expects a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, 2+ years of relevant experience, CPA eligibility preferred, and a focus on client service, quality, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years' of relevant experience required.
• CPA eligible preferred.
• Experience in business consulting or services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with client and sales tax team to resolve identified data issues.
• Receive training on Avalara software.
• Utilize Avalara to prepare and review sales tax returns.
• Work with clients from multiple industries, including Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail & Healthcare.
• Complete tax-related research and special projects as needed.
• Review and resolve sales tax returns.
• Identify Nexus issues and discrepancies where filing a return may be required.
• Develop and train team associates and interns to help them build inspired careers.
